How to write Quizzes...

Boxing Day is
a) A day for buying boxes
b) A day to celebrate the art of Boxing
c) A day for throwing away empty boxes
d) A holiday celebrated in Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Forgive me, but I’ve been learning how to write quizzes. Why? Because I have an article idea that would work great as a quiz. So I’m practicing…with a little help from an great article by Kelly James-Enger called ‘Five Steps to Writing Great Quizzes’.

By the way, the answer to the above question is (d). It’s origins derive from the practice in the Middle Ages of landed gentry presenting their servants, apprentices, and the poor with gifts. These days, it just represents another holiday when all the shops open their doors wide and entice people with huge sales...
